As a Sales Representative for Venminder you will work remotely from a home office and close sales opportunities utilizing Web presentations. Leads are provided through marketing and business development efforts. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Manage rapid movement of leads through the sales process, including: qualification of prospects, assessment of needs, presentation of vendor management services and software, and closing of business
  • Engage C-Level executives in discussion of vendor management regulatory requirements
  • Complete Web demonstrations of Venminder services and software
  • Ability to communicate how Venminder is uniquely positioned to significantly reduce a financial institution’s vendor management workload
  • Maintain accurate contact management records of all activity in CRM system

Job Requirements:

Sales Development

Based on exciting new ‘Sales 2.0’ prospecting techniques with a focus on mutual business fit, research and execute consultative discussions to create highly qualified sales opportunities for the closing team.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into business accounts. You’ll learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target, and how to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.

The SDR will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business, their vendor management issues and their operations. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the sales organization, and the compensation package includes a commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities 
  • Strategize with top-producing sales managers on specific vertical industry expertise 
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure and people and develop creative outbound prospecting campaigns 
  • Engage executives in target prospect accounts to understand business operations and vendor management issues 
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives on business need and escalate to assigned Account Executive for closing 
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects 
  • Leverage CRM tools to prospect into targeted vertical accounts 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in consultative selling
  • Ability to write succinct, crisp emails; writing sample requested
  • Clear communication style and great phone manner
