Prior to Venminder, the university was managing their vendors and contract details in spreadsheets. Joshua Johnson, Executive Assistant for Financial Affairs and HR Assistant at Doane University, provided some insight into their challenges.

“Our contracts were housed in physical locations only not electronically. The contract details were kept in a spreadsheet, so alerts were manual. This made it difficult to both track and review for proper oversight,” said Joshua.

Solution

Doane University decided to look into Venminder for vendor management software as the platform came highly recommended.

“A new employee at the university used Venminder previously while employed at a credit union and suggested that we take a look at Venminder and it was definitely the best option for what we were looking for. The system was very easy to navigate and user friendly,” Joshua shared.

Joshua explained, “Our vendor management process is always evolving but Venminder has enabled us to streamline and make the process much more efficient for all parties involved.”

“Due to how user friendly and easy it is to navigate the system, our product managers don’t require much training to figure out how to use it, which is nice.”
